How to Show Up: A Workshop

WEDNESDAY, september 9

Most of us don't even know how to begin.

The first text. The call after you find out what happened. The moment you're standing at their door and you have no idea what to say.

At some point, everyone we love will face something that breaks life open. Illness. Loss. A diagnosis. A marriage ending.

We freeze. We draft and delete. We tell ourselves we'll reach out once we know the right words. The days pass. We still don't know. Now it feels too late.

And if we do manage to show up once, the follow-through falls apart anyway. Not knowing what to say three weeks in. The fear that bringing it up will ruin their good day. The guilt of pulling back because you just don't know what to do anymore.

It's one of the most important things we'll ever do. And nobody ever taught us how.

This virtual workshop changes that.

“I wanted to thank you again for your session about showing up for the ones we love. I have brought it up with so many friends lately, and it's sparked some wonderful conversations about what it means to be there for one another.” - Courtney T.

Wednesday, september 9 from 12-1pm EST

Facilitated by Harper Spero, CEO of 2AM, a platform helping people show up for the loved ones in their lives who are going through hard moments, whether that's illness, loss, or any of the countless other things we don't always have the words for. 2AM gives people the tools, language, and confidence to be the support they want to be, instead of freezing up or saying the wrong thing.
